Well doors seem to be opening and closing at a rapid pace, I am in the very early stages of planting a church and Upland seems to be the spot I keep coming back to. After nine or so years involved at my home church, the time has come for me to look to the next part of my journey. The best part about my leaving ALCC is that it is done with love, peace and friendships in tact. We have some of my best friends in life there and will miss the day to day interaction with all of them.
I finally have a real peace about this transition, I was so concerned about causing any disruption in what they have going as they transition into a new building and press on in the work they have ahead of them.
I am looking towards the Fall of 2012 , maybe September, so if you are in the vicinity of Upland and do not have a church you call home, drop me an email and lets pray about this new work in Upland, I will be starting a small group in early February with the focus of getting this going……I am over the top excited and ready to go.
Hope some of you friends and family can join me

Really excited to see what God does in this next stage of your life! Praying that the gospel will grow as the Spirit moves in Upland.

O’Ruiz, you will be a blessing, as always to many. I’m so proud of your courage to leave a wonderful home church to venture out into the deep. God our Father will bless all you put your hand to.
Preach it preach it preach it!!!!
(on a selfish note, glad you will still be in the area)

I’m excited for you, too, Mike. I’ll be eager to see how the Lord uses you.
